Not knowing when I was going to be able to see my family in Mexico. The fact that I couldn’t just leave and come back to the country if an emergency happened. Having to cancel my lifetime medical insurance because I no longer live in the country I was born in.
The uncertainty over the duration of the restrictions was an added source of anxiety for me during the pandemic.
